Fast Transitions

Fast transitions is a small QOL mod that speeds up going from one level to the next. The moment you touch a portal, the next level immediately begins. The animation of the mutant spinning inside the portal before the level ends is skipped, level generation is made instant, and the exiting spiral animation is immediately advanced to not obscure vision. No more waiting!

Works on NTT v100+. Was also tested on 9940 and 9944 in the past, and should still work on those versions.

Options:

/fttipfont [m1 | small | chat | none] - set one of the in-game fonts for the mod to briefly display loading screen tips at the beginning of the level. The tip display feature is disabled if the font is set to none. (default: none)

/ftloop (number) - set the loop at and past which the mod's function will be disabled. For example, if set to 10, the mod will not skip animations and make level generation instant if you're at L10 or beyond. The mod will take effect on any loop if this is set to -1. (default: -1)

/ftcompat - toggles compatibility mode. Compatibility mode slightly prolongs level generation and allows the level generator object to exist for one frame longer in order to prevent potential issues with other mods. May matter if other mods, for example, rely on checking for the status of the level generator to tell when to run their level start events. (default: off)
